Economics of Natural Hazards

This is an introductory online course for anyone in the emergency management sector who is interested in learning how to apply economic analyses to the management of natural hazards. It was developed for the industry partners and stakeholders of the Bushfires & Natural Hazards Cooperative Research Centre.

 

Benefit : Cost Analysis (BCA) for Environmental and Social Projects

This is an introductory online training for industry practitioners who want to understand economic evaluation better and how to apply BCA on projects that have environmental and social benefits.

MOOC - Agriculture, Economics and Nature

This video provides an introduction and overview of a free online 6 week course provided by our centre on key economic principles that will help you understand changes that have occurred in agriculture, and support improved decision making about things like agricultural production methods, agricultural input levels, resource conservation, and the balance between agricultural production and its environmental impacts.
