Micro-credential courses
Our Centre delivers a UWA short course on Applied Benefit Cost Analysis for our industry practitioners and members of the public. Applied Benefit: Cost Analysis is one of the most important and widely used tools of economics.
In this micro-credential, participants will learn how to apply Benefit: Cost Analysis in a rigorous, informative and practical way, that recognises the importance of consulting with stakeholders and experts.
The course will be offered in line with each semester.

This is an introductory online course for anyone in the emergency management sector who is interested in learning how to apply economic analyses to the management of natural hazards.
Benefit : Cost Analysis (BCA) for Environmental and Social Projects
This is an introductory online training for industry practitioners who want to understand economic evaluation better and how to apply BCA on projects that have environmental and social benefits. This introductory BCA course was developed to support users of INFFEWS.

We bring evidence-based perspectives to our partners and a wider audiences.
CEEP staff regularly contribute public commentary on environmental policy and emerging issues through science communication platforms, including UWA media, radio, industry forums, roundtables, and broader public channels.
Our work is frequently featured in outlets such as The Conversation, ABC Radio National, ABC’s 7.30 news report, and key newsletters.
We co-sponsor an award to recognise outstanding research addressing water-related land management challenges in Western Australia, highlighting work that delivers benefits for agriculture, the environment, and society.
