Partnerships

We participate in national research programs and provide research services to government & industry.  We also provide consulting services and training packages.

Research Partnerships

​We are involved in a range of nationally funded research programs. We regularly collaborate with other Australian universities and leading research institutions, through joint research applications and funding bids.

​​

​We get involved in a range of applied research projects funded through government and industry contracts.  These projects tend to require multi-stakeholder engagement including various tiers of governments, utilities, peak industry bodies, Traditional Owners, plus local industry and community groups.

​

We also deliver targeted consulting projects, advisory services, and capacity-building activities for our partners.  

​

Additionally, our staff are closely aligned with the UWA Oceans Institute, and actively involved in the UWA Oceans Institute through representation on its scientific advisory structures and leadership within its Coastal and Ecosystem Resilience theme.  Through this long-standing partnership we regularly participate in their programs, such as the NESP Climate Systems, Blue Economy CRC and more. ​
